New container port Aruba

Croon Caribe has been commissioned, in a construction team, for the technical facilities of the newly constructed container port in Barcadera in Aruba.

The new container port provides more employment and Aruba will have two modern ports in the future; one for the loading and unloading of containers and one other in Oranjestad for cruise ships.

Croon is responsible for the construction of electrical, emergency power, medium voltage, mechanical, communications and the security systems.

The operations started in December 2014 and according to the challenging schedule stevedoring company ASTEC will take the new facilities in operation in January 2016
