Replacement of the access control system of Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA Airport)
Croon Caribe has been awarded the contract to replace the access control system of Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA Airport) in Aruba.
During the first wave of the Corona crisis Aruba decided to close the borders for all passenger traffic thus leaving the airport without activities for several months. As the island is largely dependent on tourism, it remains uncertain when the passenger arrivals will be back at the 2019 levels.
It is therefore that Croon Caribe is pleased to have received this contract in this challenging times.
The works will consist of the installation of a new flexible and reliable access control system that will support current and future security needs of the airport.
Works are scheduled to start in the 4th quarter of 2020 and should be completed in the 3rd quarter of 2021.
